Sliding glass balconies are particularly useful in narrow balconies. Sliding glass balcony models have multiple rails. There's a glass on every rail. When the windows are collected, an area which is a width of a glass remains constant, the balcony cannot be fully opened. But because it is not fold inside of the balcony, it does not take up space in the balcony.
