Benefits of 3-Zone Matting System

Building entrances are considered as one of the most important parts of the facilities as they give the first impression to the visitors. Therefore they should be decorated aesthetically and functionally. Due to the bidirectional heavy pedestrian traffic, %80 of indoor pollution is formed by the dirt carried inside via entrances.

Asmat® matting systems are manufactured both for indoor and outdoor usage to keep the dirt, dust and moisture outside the buildings. Our matting systems are designed with different insert combinations, dimensions and shapes as per the needs of locations and provide a complete cleaning solution and dry steps by reducing the dirt from coarse to light level. Properly configured systems help the establishments not only by preventing the slippery floor accidents, but also save time and money by lowering the cleaning costs.

Durable aluminum profiles and rubber based inserts are manufactured weather-proof while rollable design helps for easy cleaning and saving at freight costs.

Entrance mats are generally grouped as per their application areas. As the outdoor mats are used at the places open to rain, sun and severe winter conditions, they don't contain carpet inserts and mostly composed of rubber based materials. For indoor mats ,predominantly carpet inserts are used.

For a successful cleaning 3-Zone matting system must be designed in accordance with the structure of the entrance. If needed, our Technical Department will gladly guide our customers to choose the right mats and to set up the right configuration.

Zone 1 - For Coarse Dirt Application Areas : Outdoor areas with coarse dirt risk. Advisable Insert Combinations: Rubber , Cassette Brush , Aluminum Scraper

Zone 2 - For Fine Dirt Application Areas : Indoor or covered outdoor areas with fine dirt and dust risk. Advisable Insert Combinations: Ribbed Carpet, Rubber , Cassette Brush

Zone 3 For Dust & Moisture Application Areas : Indoor areas with dust and moisture risk. Advisable Insert Combinations: Ribbed Carpet , Rubber
