The importance of proposal
Technology and new tools play a significant role in the construction process. The employers in construction sector expect new employees to have better capacity of using the new technologies. It is important that construction engineering students must be given the opportunity to know the most recent techniques used in building and construction industry. The Building Information Modeling is one of these techniques it has been clearly used by construction industry.
With BIM, the currently used two dimensions (D2) drawings are replaced by a multidimensional model (nD) includes data, it can generate materials counting sheets, initial timetables and of course the two dimensions drawings if necessary, it can also work with other computer software. There are many more constructions companies that integrate BIM models in its own construction's design and management, especially for project scheduling and controlling. Accordingly, and increasing number of designing companies and contractors regularly require to employ the constructions engineering students. It is obvious that having the BIM skills will provide a new positive item to construction engineering students when they enter the building and construction industry in the future. Adopting the BIM approach for construction curriculum is important and useful. Changing of the technology contents in courses requires more efforts and time.
This article provides a proposal of integrating BIM within training the construction engineering students to the knowledge of project scheduling and controlling skills in different courses of the current construction engineering curriculum, along with planning a framework of training course.
At the end, the researches indicate that 75% of contracting companies are using or intend to use BIM in their companies, and 75% of them are planning to employ candidates with BIM skills, other than who is lack the knowledge (BIM Azhar et al, 2008).
This skill shortage will remain as long as BIM have not added to universities curriculum (AEC-Sacks and Barak, 2020). It is obvious that teaching of BIM is required in the schools that teach construction engineering, engineering and construction (2011, deutsch).
"Using of BIM in the construction engineering schools as a course similar to which is used in the real life projects is necessary. And it is necessary to consider this course in the universities curriculums," said (Livingston, 2008).
(Eastman et al, 2011) claimed that learning BIM is easier of learning CAD tools. In the last four years, some universities began to teach BIM. Some researchers, (Berwald, 2008), (Denzer and Hedges, 2008) and (Sharage, Nawari, Eldin, 2010) are exchanging their experience in different universities and fields (construction engineering, engineering, and construction). However, in the Middle East developing countries, this issue is less considered. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine the awareness level about BIM in the developing countries.
Objectives
In any capitalism development, the human resources are though important, if it is not the most important factor. The kind of this variable depends on the awareness level of the society. But that cannot be verified except by the quality of teaching and education and the general level of education, especially the technical education is necessary for designing of the new technologies.
The ability of adoption and applying a new technology of information technology and communication largely depend on the ability of the society at all to be learner and able to intake and process the complex information. BIM can be considered as an emerging technology that working on making a complete industrial revolution. Both academia and professional society are witnessing the reality of that the learning is n vital factor to accelerate knowledge and employ professional skills for this industry. That because both of them are acknowledges that there is a gap between the industry's expectation and the high education.
This explains the reason of that companies in the most cases don not employ new candidates for the specialized working opportunities. The Building Information Modeling (BIM) becomes the international standard of skill in architecture engineering, engineering, construction (AEC) and other construction services. New studies also revealed construction industry is vital to economic the most of advanced countries.
BIM definition
Today, BIM is considered just as software (initially due to the advertising campaigns for software companies). However, BIM must not be considered as just software, but as an integrated process. In the context of architecture engineering, making the Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a designing approach enables all the details of design, schedules and features to be collected in a digital cooperative package and information. After that, design information and project can be shared to be directly accessed and modified, which facilitate the cooperative design process and assets management in an effective flexible way through all the building life cycle.
The BIM system has many features for projects, such as decreasing wastes, improve efficiency and enhance cooperation among different project parties, which will lead to improve quality and reduce costs and time. Studies indicated that the BIM skills and exchange of information, protocols and process is necessary to improve the design efficiency and operational performance of building. Therefore, it is important to integrate the BIM principle in training the construction professionals in the future.

To make a sound BIM approach, system idea and the tools to the program realization must be studied. It is not expected the existing of course covers BIM and all details the meet industry needs. In fact, an independent BIM course requires many components from the other courses. Therefore, creating such course may not be very difficult. But it is difficult to, or impossible, to make students know that BIM is a process includes many application from the other courses. BIM can be also integrated within the other engineering courses so that it can be depended on in practical application within the current engineering approach.
BIM must be taught during the students learning the ideal building approach, with concentrating on the skilling of projects scheduling, project controlling and scope planning and management. Many related courses are used in the current approach of construction engineering.
The courses that defined on the basis of the courses nature are construction and scheduling planning, construction contract, field management and construction information technology. Development of educational subjects is important and different according to education level according to education method. It has decided to use the official lectures, practical labs, guest speakers, and comprehensive/training projects for achievement of effective cooperative education, in addition to the nature of each course and the preference of the instructor or lecturer.

BIM learners
The BIM learners are all individuals following knowledge, skills, or experience of BIM technology or workflow. BIM includes trainers, practitioners, and future practitioners, in any field of design, construction and operation and for any position or role.
BIM teachers, such as BIM Arabia
BIM providers are commercial and non-commercial entities which provide official or official BIM education, training or professional development. BIM providers include individual trainers, training organizations, universities, professional organizations, industry associations and communities of practice.
BIM Learning Spectrum
